Pump Restaurant in West Hollywood Is Closing

More sad news came out in lieu of the Scandoval. Last month, it was reported that Pump Restaurant is closing on July 5. The restaurant is located between Santa Monica Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard and is sometimes featured on Vanderpump Rules. Lisa Vanderpump released a statement to People Magazine.

"It's with heavy hearts that we announce that the lease at Pump Restaurant is expiring, and we will be closing its doors on July 5th, after 10 years of beautiful evenings under our olive trees," read her statement to the outlet.

The increased rent led to the closing. Per TMZ's sources, the landlords were looking for a million dollars a year. It's the same reason why Lisa and her husband Ken Todd closed their Beverly Hills restaurant Villa Blanca.

What is Pump Up Your Pride?

Per WeHo Times, Pump Up Your Pride takes place at Pump Restaurant during Pride Month, which is in June. Pump Restaurant has become the destination for celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in West Hollywood. They have a happy hour complete with a parade that includes some of your favorite cast members.

Pump Up Your Pride was filmed in previous seasons of Vanderpump Rules. Fans look forward to watching this event every year on the show. Unfortunately, that was overshadowed by the cheating scandal, which rocked the cast. Tom Sandoval had an affair with his co-star Raquel Leviss, leading to the end of his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.
